I just love bare trees in the winter. I love spring too; but, there's something about bare trees amidst the sky and grass that fascinates me.
Thankfully, I took the Zindorf class with my SCS twin sister AudreyAnn who is 11 months older than I am - figure that one out! We also live in close proximity, so we met for the 1st time this past weekend at her lovely home. I met Audrey, her husband and two dogs. Next time, I'll be properly introduced to her 2 cats.
Audrey helped me re-practice the brayering we learned at the Zindorf class as there was a gap in b/t b/fore I could play with it again and I had forgotten some of it. What's an older sister for but to teach the very much younger sister????
I noticed Audrey used a tree from the Lovely As A Tree on her latest upload. I was so mad as it was the exact same stamp I was going to use. You see, twins think alike, even if they are 11 months apart.
I decided to keep the card as is with no extra embellishments or details, aside from the black brads, as I felt the image was the true focal point. This is one of the "rare" times I did not pop up any part of the card on dimensionals.
I embossed the trees in black over the scenery and highlighted it with a white gel pen. Now that the brayering has come out so dark, it looks like it's a dusk winter scene; hence, the more mustard sun in the b/g doesn't quite fit a nighttime feel, but I'm sticking with it.
Thanks so much for taking a look and have a great week. Bye Audzi and thanks for the help!!

The thing is, I have a REAL LIVE sister who is only 10 months younger than me and we both have the same mother and father, so your story does not puzzle me!! I'll send you a picture of the both of us - me a babe in arms holding my sister.
Now , for zee card! It's truly lovely, and I'm glad I caught it the gallery!! Great brayering. lovely trees - but I suspect those bare trees are merely spy equipment reaching skyward as antennea - and I can see the glow of zee radiation emanating from the tips of the trees.
It's a gloriously beautiful card - but you'd have to wake up a lot earlier in the morning to fool me, my zecret spy friend!;)

But, how could we be TWINS 11-months apart my Agent 9999 highly intellectual detective. Gee, I thought you would figure this out; but, hence your mind has lapsed after viewing the antennae and radiation. It is talking to the mother ship!!! You are one funny girlzi.

LOL!!!!! Oh my adorable and Identical Twinzi - this is a TRUE MASTERPIECE!!! Too funny we thought of using the same stamp, then again it really shouldn't surprise me.
The trees you've chosen are a perfect addition to this beautiful moonlight nightscape!! I love how you've matted this, love the corner brads, and I love the gelpen highlights - I'm not brave enough to try that... Guess you'll have to show me how next time we meet!!

Well, just look at this brayering. Pamzi, you didn't fool me. As I bypassed Audzi's house on the way to you know where, I saw HER doing this brayering for you. LOL
Actually....wow! What a fantastic job and a gorgeous night scene. You two may really be twinzei and have that same brayering gene. I guess I'll have to say...it is awesome!!!

Is it green there in the winter? I just can't picture a winter scene with out the good ol' snow.
You did create a beautiful scene though....love the touch of white on the trees.
(Debzi and I are waiting for you to make a card with a crumb cake base....will we be waiting for awhile? You have been doing some new techniques.)
